Chakras are the central points of energy that reside in all of us. They are the connecting channel between mind and body, spirit and matter, and past and future. Chakras can be visualized as energetic wheels that draw, process and pass the mental, emotional and spiritual contents of our lives.

Crown Chakra- self-awareness, consciousness
Third Eye Chakra- perception, intuition
Throat Chakra- communication, self-expression
Heart Chakra- Integration, love, compassion
Solar Plexus Chakra- personal power and responsibility
Sacral Chakra- transformation, fluidity, sensation
Root Chakra- self-preservation, stability
The chakras can become imbalanced for various reasons but are often influenced by certain life situations and repeated patterns of behaviour. Practicing self-awareness helps us recognize the imbalances, and our reaction to them so we can take inspired action about how we want to interact in the world, how we want to feel and what we want to manifest for ourselves in this lifetime, and beyond.
Chakra Balancing can occur with the implementation of many different energy modalities, but please know that chakras do not remain balanced without a lot of conscious choices on our part. We must be open and willing to create change in our own lives to fully integrate the healing process.
